“The Lost Cat” is a story that draws the attention of all young readers who love animals. In the story, a brother and sister talk to their parents about buying a pet cat. One day the cat disappears while the children are playing and not paying attention to his whereabouts. As the family believe the cat is lost it was kidnapped and held for ransom by a cat snatcher. The family and the children go through a battle for his return home. The story teaches responsibility of owning a pet, appreciation, love, family bonding, and battling for what’s worth fighting for.
